Intent The original intent for this painting was to paint. To create—to create art to the best of my ability and to stretch those abilities. Then the idea came: hey, I should send it to her when it’s finished, or at least try to show it to her, explain a little bit about it, perhaps she’ll be complemented. That idea, too, of course progressed.. So this page is a vehicle for all of that. It is inevitably self-indulgent but my purposes are not to glorify myself whatsoever but to create a platform so I can pursue the final stage of the painting—and that is getting it to the person it was intended for.
